Body contouring, and or body sculpting, can eliminate fat, shape areas of the body and tighten skin. Lipolysis is a nonsurgical option that uses cold, heat, lasers and other methods.
RF Body Contouring Works
Nonsurgical body contouring can treat multiple areas, including the abdomen, upper arms, outer thighs, face, and neck. Your treatment will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you are comfortable in the treatment bed, a gel will be applied to the selected body area before we apply a device that emits energy waves deep within the dermis to target and diminish fat cells and encourage new collagen growth. Most patients say the treatment feels like a warming sensation and is generally not painful. You will hear a humming sound, while procedure is being performed. After your treatment, you will not have any downtime. You may experience warmth or redness in the targeted area and will disappear the same day. You will see some results immediately. For the optimal results, we recommend 2 procedures a week for no less than 45 days. You should begin to see your results appearing over the next 45 days as your body continues to produce collage and lose body fat.
Radiofrequency Sculpts the Body
When the skin tissue is heated by radiofrequency, the heat energy causes fat cells to shrink—thereby slimming the area. The heat also focuses on where collagen is based to make the collagen fibers contract and shrink, creating new collagen production (which tightens the skin). Radiofrequency heat also addresses cellulite by altering the connective tissues that pulls fat cells close together, decreasing the “orange peel” appearance that these connective tissues create.
Ultrasonic cavitation, also called ultrasonic lipolysis, is a body contouring treatment that is used to remove fat deposits under your skin. This procedure is a safer alternative to surgical options, like liposuction. The treatment uses ultrasonic radio waves to break apart fat cells, which are then absorbed into your body by your lymphatic system.
Ultrasonic cavitation is different than other similar treatments, it’s non- advasive. This means recovery is easier.
The ideal candidate for ultrasonic cavitation:
is in good overall health
has realistic expectations
is already within 15 pounds of their goal weight
Ultrasonic cavitation is meant to target small areas of fat and help contour your body. It isn’t a treatment for people who are trying to lose a lot of weight.
